Kindle & Authority Business Nugget #1
Howya doing?

Today I'd like to introduce a new series that exclusive to list subscribers (i.e., YOU).

The truth is I have a LOT of projects going on.

So it's getting increasingly hard to crank out those 2,000+ word blog posts.

What I do have time for is to write short, actionable pieces of content (300 to 400 words.)

Instead of posting them to my site, I thought it would be cool to send these to list subscribers as a way of thanking you for helping my business.

I'm calling this the "Kindle & Authority Business Nugget" series

Every one to two weeks, you'll get a new lesson on a SPECIFIC technique that I'm currently applying to my business.

And here's the first nugget...

=====================

We all know it's important to have an autoresponder sequence. The problem?  A downside to an email series is new subscribers aren't notified about your latest book offer.

The solution?

Sprinkle book promotions into your email series.  The key here is to use vague language like, "here is my latest book offer."  That way you can change things on the fly without having to re-write a whole email.

To use this technique you'll need a WordPress plugin like Pretty Link that creates a simple redirect.

Like this:

==> http: // www . YourAwesomeWebsite . com / latest

(Ignore the spaces, I didn't want the above to become an active link.)

Whenever you have a new offer, swap out the link and send people to the book you really need to promote.

You could do this for:

** Free promotions
** Kindle Countdown Deals
** Your most recently published book

Currently I include this link in two key locations:

** As a P.S. in the welcome message
** In a solo email that's sent after a content-rich message.

But YOU could easily add this to other parts of your autoresponder sequence.

Plus, here's another way I'm applying this technique.

One of the most valuable pieces of "real estate" is your thank you page.  This is the page that people see after they've subscribed to your email list.

Instead of simply thanking subscribers, you could encourage them to check out your latest book.

This is a strategy I applied only a few days ago.

So far, 1/3rd of my subscribers have clicked this link and checked out my latest book.  Since, I'm starting to average 100 subscribers a day, that means 33 new daily visitors to my book catalog.  And I'm sure if I tweaked this page, this percentage would go up.

The key takeaway to this lesson is...right now...you probably have a few key locations on your website that gets traffic.  So use them to promote  your latest book.

That's it for the first edition of the "Kindle & Authority Business Nugget" series.

I'll be sure to send more of these on a regular basis.

Take Action. Get Results.
