There's a number of ways to make that happen but these 2 things can really leverage things for Now I'm a fricken accountant, so as a profession our focus was on columns, rows and numbers not people, relationships and communication.
Let's face it most accountants don't have compelling, dynamic personalities...BORING
But I learned early on as fledgling grad trying to make a name for myself that "communication" is the greatest skill we can nurture as difference-makers and thought leaders.
Think about this, how much of a thought leader or influencer can you be if you are no good at communicating your thinking in a compelling way.
It truly is more about your ability to articulate your thinking that drives your impact and your success than the thinking itself.
It doesn't matter if you're a speaker, author, trainer, coach, consultant, course creator, advisor as long as you're someone with ideas, insights and expertise that can help others this applies to you.
Great ideas are created daily in the showers all around the world LOL but few if any get dried off, dressed and put out into the world.
Your job as someone looking to use your knowledge and expertise to better people's lives is to shift their thinking in a way that changes their behavior to get them to the better results THEY ARE searching for.
Don't lose sight it's about what THEY are looking for NOT you. This is the positive intent part.
When we lose sight of that, it's no longer influence rather it's manipulation. Therein lies the difference.
So, here's my question what are you doing right now to capture your thinking in a way that influences? Do you have system or tool to catalog your insights?
The top thought leaders do...
Question #2, how are you nurturing and building your ability to communicate more effectively those insights so you get consistent results for your clients?
This is where Thoughtpreneur tools like The Communication Pathway Template ™ and The Framework Formula ™ make it easier, systematic and elevates your influence.
Focusing on cataloging your thinking and communicating it in a compelling way will be the key that sets you apart.
Now get to serving!
Keep rocking for now!
Cheers,
