| Hey steve, If you are paying yourself, building wealth, and creating a future nest egg, then it's a business. If you're not making any money, then it's a hobby. Being able to pay yourself makes all the difference. Like it was yesterday, I can remember the gut wrenching feeling that quite literally made my stomach do flip flops and had me questioning if I was pursuing the right path or simply wasting my time as an entrepreneur. Was this a business or just a hobby?? It wasn't that long ago when on 'bill paying' day I would pay what I could to the most important vendors and then low and behold, my available bank balance would be zero and that meant me, the President of the company I founded, I was yet again not going to get paid.
